Isak is an awkward sort of young man who likes nothing more than to learn new things; expand his horizons, if you will. Coming from a very small small town in the northernmost region of Sweden, "thinking outside the box" is very much not tolerated.
...therefore, it is both liberating and a tad daunting to find himself in such an odd (but exhilarating) new setting, such as Middle Area. Nothing much is the same as his home town. Everything is new; hardly anyone acts the way he expects them to, the food is weird, but the classes are refreshingly challenging in comparison.
He'll learn a whole load of new things before his exchange student days are over. Wanna bet?
((OOC INFO ONLY: Isak is slowly beginning to show more than a few signs of 'psychic' abilities. He can't control them, though. In fact, so far they aren't as much of a blessing as they are a curse.))
